The Giants are another team that could be interested in trading for Ford. While the team drafts fourth in the first round this weekend, they’re likely going to miss out on drafting the best edge-rusher in the draft, Chase Young. If they do – the team may look at a trade for a veteran like Ford to fill the void.

Ford is a great fit on the defensive front for the Giants, who are in desperate need of playmakers on the defense as they look to rebuild their roster around Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley. While the Giants will be hoping that Ford can be a third down end, the team will be happy enough if he can generate pressure consistently and help to groom last year’s rookie Oshane Ximines.

The Giants are unlikely to want to part with their any of there picks in the first three rounds, but with seven Day 3 picks could package their fourth and a couple of seventh-round picks to secure the pass-rushing specialist.
