2020 NFL Draft: What time does Day 2 start?

With the first round of the NFL Draft in the books, the football world turns its’ attention to the draft’s second round. Drama and intrigue are abundant as we learn the fates of top prospects who dropped from the first round, and see which players are selected much higher than all of the ‘experts’ have predicted.
Will someone convince Cincinnati to trade out of the 33rd pick? Will anyone leap into the second round who does not currently have a selection? Will teams mortgage future selections for a shot at this year’s wide receiving crop, or their quarterback of the future?
To tune in to the draft, you can still use your preferred viewing station as per normal – both the NFL Network and ESPN will carry draft coverage, despite the selection show being held entirely virtually for the first time.
On Friday, April 24 the second round of the draft begins at 7:00 p.m. ET and fans can watch on either ESPN and/or the NFL Network. Each team gets seven minutes per pick with equates to 224 minutes, of possible time to complete. Roughly that means we can anticipate the second round of the draft ending at around 10:30 p.m. ET, and the third round will immediately follow.
The schedule is always a little difficult to predict because some teams, of course, will not use their full complement of time available. As such, the only way to ensure that you don’t miss any of the action is to tune in at 7:00 p.m. ET Friday night and watch the second round in its’ entirety!
