Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a Super Bowl Championship and an NFL MVP award but that hasn’t stopped him from being a little jealous of Kliff Kingsbury’s incredible home.
One of the fun parts of this year’s NFL Draft is getting a glimpse of the homes and “war rooms” of various NFL coaches and GMs. Most of these settings seem to be in a basement or home office. Hell, even NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is hosting the first round of the NFL Draft from his basement. Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury, however, appears to be operating from his absolutely stunning living room.

OK, Kliff. We see you.
And we weren’t the only ones. Kingsbury’s setup got the attention of Mahomes, who played for Kingsbury at Texas Tech.

Mahomes is still on his rookie deal with the Chiefs but given his absolutely insane list of accomplishments, he’ll likely be able to afford just about any domestic setup he chooses once his ship comes in. The Chiefs are going to make Mahomes the highest-paid QB of all-time which should be enough for him to buy five versions of Kingsbury’s house if he chooses to.
Mahomes wasn’t the only NFL player commenting on Kingsbury’s crib. His teammate, Tyran Mathieu, who used to play for the Cardinals, responded to Mahomes’ tweet with one of his own.
No wonder they couldn’t afford me anymore lmao

The rest of NFL Twitter followed suit.

Kingsbury got off to a lackluster start last season in his first year as head coach of the Cardinals. The team went just 5-11 but is also in the middle of a rebuild. Arizona seems to be set with quarterback Kyler Murray so Kingsbury and the Cardinals will be looking to take the next step in 2020.
