Best draft pick: AJ Dillon, RB, Boston College

To be clear, the Packers had a bad draft, so there isn’t a clear best draft pick. This is more of like finding the least bad pick. Dillon will be able to shoulder some of the rushing load for the Packers but it’ll come at the expense of their second-best player. But if he can keep Jones fresh for the long haul and keep him more explosive and an asset in the passing game, it’ll work out.

Worst draft pick: Jordan Love

Drafting Love does nothing to help the Packers get closer to the Super Bowl this year or next year or maybe even the year after that. While Rodgers hasn’t had a skill position player taken in the first round for his entire career, the organization drafted his successor with the hope of a seamless transition in 2023? Lightning struck once when Rodgers fell in their laps but Love is not the same prospect as Rodgers who was viewed as a potential No. 1 overall pick. If the Packers fall a few plays short in the playoffs again this year, it’ll haunt the Packers for years as they watch the Super Bowl window close.
