LSU. Kristian Fulton. Pick Analysis. CB. 817. Scouting Report. 61. player

For months, the speculation around Kristian Fulton wasn’t whether or not he would be a first round prospect but about where in the round he would be taken. Then Thursday night of the NFL Draft came and went and Fulton was left at home wondering where things went wrong.

In a deep draft when teams are busy addressing concerns at positions with smaller talent pools, it’s possible for a prospect like Fulton to fall through the cracks knowing that there are more corners available later on. But that still doesn’t explain why the LSU star would continue his freefall through the first half of Friday night—all the way to No. 61.

The Titans likely don’t care what others think. They landed a player who some labeled the draft’s third best cornerback outside of the top 60 picks. Right now, Tennessee is uncertain whether Logan Ryan is going to be back in the fold once again.

Fulton is long and sticky and will give opposing receivers all they can handle. Some question his lack of interceptions, but those come in time with a player like Fulton who is in position as often as he is. A steal of a pick.
