Tennessee Titans 2020 NFL Draft grades: Kristian Fulton is godsend
By Matt Conner
5th Round
For a team that lost Jurrell Casey this offseason, it seems wrong to have waited until Day 3 to address the hole in the defensive front. (Sorry, we’re not that excited about Vic Beasley‘s arrival.) Fortunately Murchison is a decent addition who should ease the burden somewhat as a nice penetrating talent who can play the 5- or 3-technique. Needs work on technique, but most rookies do. Solid grab.
7th Round
If you’re taking a flyer on a late-round quarterback prospect, you’re banking on some intangibles and hoping the player can develop from there. McDonald fits that role perfectly with the right size and athleticism to play the part of a solid backup. However it’s going to take time to get over mental concerns.
Chris Jackson enters the NFL as a late round defensive back hoping to parlay his plentiful collegiate resume into a real opportunity with the Titans. Jackson had 45 passes defended in 45 games and put up 7 interceptions as well. He also played special teams for the Thundering Herd.
