Deion Sanders

Deion Sanders has one of the coolest Baseball-Reference pages ever. “Did not play…pro football” is one of the toughest flexes ever.

But Sanders made his MLB debut with the Yankees. He played 17 games in 1989, his last one on Sept. 6, before traveling back down to Atlanta to play for the Falcons.

In 1990, he hit just .158 in 57 games. He had a bit of a better football season that year in baseball, forcing four fumbles and returning two of his three interceptions for touchdowns. He also made 50 tackles, the second-most of his career.

But he was a better power hitter with the Yankees than Pudge or Berkman were. In fact, Deion Sanders has 66 percent more home runs as a Yankee than Pudge and Berkman combined.

Give him a plaque in Monument Park. He’s the only person to ever be teammates with Don Mattingly and Ray Lewis!
