2. Home: New York Giants

This rivalry has been all Cowboys recently, winners of the last six matchups. In four of those six games, the Cowboys have scored 30+ points. The Giants haven’t beaten the Cowboys since Dec. 2016.

This isn’t the time to start letting the Giants get the better of them. Especially at home. One team is poised for a playoff run, while the other is just trying to make progress during a roster overhaul.

Of course, these games are never easy. Each team always competes hard and plays a physical brand of football. It’s a rivalry game, what else would you expect?

As mentioned before, the home schedule for the Cowboys is much lighter than the road slate. The team will have to get these games to keep padding the win column, because they’ll more than likely play around .500 on the road.

Also, Jason Garrett returns to Dallas for the first time since he was fired. There will be some extra motive for him to snatch one from his former club, and McCarthy will want to prove that Jerry Jones made the right call in making him Garrett’s replacement.

This game will be electric and probably be on primetime national television.
