2021 NFL mock draft has the Jacksonville Jaguars taking Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 overall pick. See all the picks here.

The 2020 NFL Draft was like nothing we have ever seen before, as teams had to go the virtual route due to the current pandemic, COVID-19. Surprisingly, the draft went off without a hitch, and it gave the public a chance to return to normalcy just a little bit over the three-day event.

With that draft in the rearview mirror, here is our way-too-early 2021 NFL mock draft.

1. player. 52. . Quarterback. Jacksonville Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence

There is no doubt that Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence is going to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, it is just a matter of what team is going to get him. This kid is going to be a legitimate franchise quarterback at the next level, and whoever gets his services is going to get someone they can plug into the starting lineup for the next 15 years.

In our first mock draft for the 2021 NFL Draft, we like the Jacksonville Jaguars to be the worst team in football this season and lock down the No. 1 overall pick. For Jaguars fans, that would be a best-case scenario, as they have not had an answer at the quarterback spot in quite some time, and Lawrence has star written all over him.

Offensive Tackle. Washington Commanders. Penei Sewell. 2. player. 58.

The Washington Redskins added arguably the best overall player in the 2020 NFL Draft, staying put at No. 2 overall and selecting Ohio State edge rusher Chase Young. With their new head coach in place in Ron Rivera, Young is the perfect young star to lead this Redskins defense as they look to change the culture within the organization.

Unfortunately, the oddsmakers do not give the Redskins much of a chance to do anything this season, leading to another year where they have an early draft pick. With the pick, they bring in their replacement for Trent Williams, who they traded to the San Francisco 49ers during the draft in Penei Sewell.
