2. At Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers were one of the best teams in football last year, dropping only three games in the regular season. One of those losses came at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles, who went into Lambeau Field on a short week and topped them in Week 4 on Thursday Night Football.

Carson Wentz delivered a highly efficient performance for the Eagles in that game, completing 16 of 27 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns. Philadelphia also dominated the Packers on the ground, rushing for 176 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

That game was one of the Eagles’ most complete efforts of the season and it was a big factor in them reaching the playoffs. Philadelphia has to go back to Green Bay again this season and it is a safe bet that the Packers haven’t forgotten that game.

A lot has changed for both sides since that Thursday night meeting so this matchup will be a good barometer for both teams. The playoff implications between two reigning division champions are also massive.

If the Eagles can find a way to duplicate the feat of walking into Lambeau Field and toppling the Packers they would have a huge tiebreaker advantage in postseason scenarios. Finding a way to defeat Aaron Rodgers and company one more time would also speak a lot to how much of a threat Philadelphia can be in the NFC.
