1. Vs. Dallas Cowboys

There is no doubt that the biggest game on the Eagles’ schedule comes against the Dallas Cowboys. The NFC East is in a bit of a down cycle, leaving the division in the hands of the Eagles and Cowboys for the past few years.

The bitter rivalry has become decisively one-sided over the past two years. Dallas swept the Eagles in 2018 on their way to the division crown with Philadelphia returning the favor in 2019.

The sweep by the Eagles last season played a big role in the Cowboys elimination, resulting in Jason Garrett finally losing his job. Dallas brought in proven winner Mike McCarthy to be their next head coach and his first priority is taking down the Eagles to win the division.

Both games against the Cowboys are huge for the Eagles, but the contest at Lincoln Financial Field is even more important. The home-field edge seems much more significant in Philadelphia, where the Eagles’ fan base can significantly bolster Philadelphia’s chances of winning.

The NFC East will once again come down to whoever emerges on top between the Eagles and Cowboys in 2020. Those games are, for both sides, the most important games that will be played in the division this season.
