4. New York will go 3-5 at home

The schedule for the Jets features five playoff teams from last season. Specifically, the road schedule.

At home, the Jets will have the opportunity to pile up some wins. Although, the team has to take those opportunties. Last year, they had a home record of 5-3.

Here’s the opponents the Jets will play at home:

Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders and San Francisco 49ers.

If all goes well, they can rack up possibly five wins at MetLife Stadium. Realistically, that number will probably hover around three or four though.

It’s always hard to say what a team will and will not do without playing a single down. But on paper, the Jets will be a more competitive team in 2020.

Last season, they beat the Dolphins and Bills, and they could have easily beaten both twice. The Browns could flop again, and the Broncos, Cardinals and Raiders could all be wins.

The Patriots are vulnerable, and that game could go either way. San Francisco is the toughest game.

When you look at it, the Jets could win five games at home if things break right.

If the Jets can beat the Patriots and Browns, suddenly you have a winning record at MetLife Stadium. However, it looks like a 3-5 record at home is the likely outcome.
