Baltimore Ravens: vs. Tennessee Titans

Playoff rematches always take on extra weight in the following season, particularly when it involves the loser trying to get revenge. That will be the case for the Baltimore Ravens, who had their dream 2019 season come to an end at the hands of the Tennessee Titans.

The Ravens began last year with a question at quarterback due to their decision to radically overhaul their offense to fit Lamar Jackson’s talents. Critics frequently questioned whether Jackson could succeed as a passer, but he proved them wrong by winning the MVP and guiding the Ravens to a 14-2 record.

Baltimore’s strong year earned them home-field advantage throughout the playoffs but it proved to be useless in a Divisional Round loss to the Tennessee Titans. Derrick Henry ran all over the Ravens, helping Tennessee build a big lead and forcing Jackson to win the game with his arm, which he could not.

The schedule is set to bring Tennessee, which fell just short of the Super Bowl in 2019, back to Baltimore for another showdown against the Ravens. This contest has likely been circled on John Harbaugh’s calendar since the playoff matchup ended and the Ravens’ fan base will be fired up for it as well.

There is a good chance this game ends up in primetime and it should be must-see TV across the country. Jackson will also be highly motivated to rip the Titans’ defense to shreds after they really stifled him in that playoff loss.
