Game of the Week: Pittsburgh Steelers at Dallas Cowboys

If you appreciate history, you appreciate this rivalry.

The Steelers and Cowboys are the only foes to meet in a Super Bowl three times, doing so in 1975, ’78 and ’95. Pittsburgh won the first two meetings with the Cowboys getting revenge behind the Triplets — Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin.

This time around, the two teams are both considered to be contenders. Dallas and Pittsburgh are attempting to recover from missing the postseason a year ago. The Cowboys lost some critical pieces in the offseason including center Travis Frederick and cornerback Byron Jones, but gained a new head coach in Mike McCarthy. The Steelers are getting Ben Roethlisberger back after he missed 14 games with elbow surgery.

This should be a fun one at JerryWorld.
