Weeks 13-16

24. 30. 30. 36. Prediction

The Jets will travel to Kansas City to play in that excruciating environment. The team will also have to play in another one of the NFL’s loudest stadiums in Seattle.

Now, Seattle has shifted its identity. Once known as a defense first team, they have become more reliant on the offensive attack behind Russell Wilson.

Darnold will be able to score. However, the Jets are not built for these types of games. Wilson is still one of the league’s best, and he will find the defensive weaknesses in a win.

Prediction. 24. 30. 27. 51

What has happened to the Rams? Once pegged to win a Super Bowl, the team has seemingly taken a step back after cutting Todd Gurley and moving on from other crucial players due to the salary cap.

Defensively, the Rams will give up some points. Offensively, they still of Jared Goff, Robert Woods, and Cooper Kupp. Not to mention, the mind of Sean McVay.

This game has the potential to go either way, but the Rams get the upper hand at home.

30. Prediction. 27. 53. 17

The Darnold vs. Mayfield matchup hasn’t amounted to much. In the first meet up, Mayfield entered the contest and led the Browns to a win. Last season, Darnold missed the prime-time battle.

So, this might be the first true head-to-head game between the 2018 NFL Draft picks.

The Browns had a hiccup last season, but they are still built to compete. A more focused Mayfield with better play calling can help that offense reach full potential, and they can do big things. Taking advantage of opportunities and making big plays, the Browns take this one in New York.

23. 30. 17. 47. Prediction

The last time the Jets won a game in New England, Mark Sanchez was under center. The defense played a fantastic game against Tom Brady, and Rex Ryan got his signature win in the 2010 AFC Divisional Round against the Pats.

Since then, the Jets have lost every single game in New England. They have beaten the Pats at home, but a road win against the Patriots is long overdue.

Players like Jamal Adams and Sam Darnold understand how important a culture change is for the Jets. Too often have they been beaten in New England. A win on the road against a hated rival like this is a culture changer, and the team will get it this season.

The Patriots are vulnerable, and the Jets know it.
