Overall Record: 9-7

Home Record: 5-3

Road Record: 4-4

There is no question the Eagles will face a much more difficult schedule than they did in 2019. Getting first place games against New Orleans and Green Bay is a much tougher task than Dallas will face against Atlanta and Minnesota.

This projection of a 9-7 record seems about right because there are a lot of outcomes for Philadelphia this season. If the Eagles can stay healthy and squeak out a few close wins there is 11 or 12 win upside here with the potential for a sleeper run at the NFC’s best record.

The flip side is that the Eagles still have issues to deal with and Wentz’s performance has been uneven at times, so the floor of this team could be a below .500 unit. The soft underbelly of the NFC East will keep Philadelphia in the hunt, but it remains to be seen if they will have enough firepower to outlast the Cowboys in the division.

There is no doubt that the Eagles are more than capable of winning this division, and a 9-7 record could be enough to get them into the playoffs as a wild card team. The story of the NFC in 2020 will heavily involve Philadelphia so it will be fun to see which version of the Eagles emerges over the course of the season.
