2. Keith Van Horn

You may not even associate a team with Van Horn. Chances are his distinctive knee-high socks are most memorable, which is fair. Van Horn played from 1998-2006 and spent his first five seasons in New Jersey where he made the All-Rookie Team and a Finals appearance.

While Van Horn spent the most time in New Jersey, his best season was arguably in Philadelphia as Allen Iverson’s running mate in 2003. When the Knicks acquired Van Horn in a four-team deal in the summer of 2003, there was reason for excitement. Van Horn was in his prime and 27 years old.

Van Horn was still solid in New York, hitting 37 percent of his 3-pointers while averaging 16.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Yet, this didn’t stop the team from trading him to Milwaukee at the 2004  trade deadline after just 47 games. Isiah Thomas later explained the move had less to do with Van Horn and more to do with their ability to acquire Tim Thomas and Nazr Mohammed.

Moving on from Van Horn was just as well since he retired two seasons later at age 30 to spend more time with his family.
