The Super Bowl LV odds have been put out on Vegas Sportsbooks, and both the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens are strong favorites.
It would come as a major surprise if the Kansas City Chiefs or Baltimore Ravens aren’t representing the AFC in Super Bowl LV.
This is reflected in the latest Super Bowl futures odds, with both franchises sharing the best number atop the board. Not surprisingly, the next four teams are all in the NFC, showcasing the depth of one conference and the top-heaviness of the other. Per OddsShark:
Latest Super Bowl 55 odds
Kansas City Chiefs (+750)
Baltimore Ravens (+750)
New Orleans Saints (+1200)
San Francisco 49ers (+1200)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1200)
Dallas Cowboys (+2000)
Buffalo Bills (+2500)
Green Bay Packers (+2500)
Indianapolis Colts (+2500)
New England Patriots (+2500)
Philadelphia Eagles (+2500)
Seattle Seahawks (+2500)
Minnesota Vikings (+3300)
Pittsburgh Steelers (+3300)
After those teams, everybody checks in at 40/1 odds or worse. The ultimate epitome of a dark horse.
While the Chiefs and Ravens make sense atop the board, there’s good value to be had towards the bottom of the list above. Green Bay was a single win from the Super Bowl last year, and while the offseason has been rocky, the Packers still have Aaron Rodgers in a winnable division.
The Seahawks and Eagles are also value bets at 25/1. Seattle was a yard away from winning the NFC West last year and potentially making a championship run. The Seahawks stand to be even better this season, and whether Jimmy Garoppolo can get the Niners back to the division crown is anybody’s guess.
Finally, the Steelers are fascinating at 33/1.Ben Roethlisberger being healthy at 38 years old after Tommy John surgery is obviously a major concern — thus the odds — but if he can be, Pittsburgh is a real factor in the race.
