Adam Hall

In a 16-year career, Hall represented 11 teams in four leagues and three countries.

His greatest whirlwind on that journey was the lockout-delayed 2012-13 NHL season. After passing the stateside labor stoppage in Germany, he began his fourth season with Tampa Bay.

In mid-March, the Lightning placed him on waivers and the Hurricanes claimed him. But 17 days later, Carolina shipped him back to the Bolts, who put him back on the wire for the Flyers to pick up.

By the end of that season, Hall had played 20 games for the Lightning, 11 for the Flyers, and six for the Hurricanes. He had also opposed Carolina once apiece with Tampa and Philadelphia in 2012-13.

He remained in Philadelphia for the full 2013-14 campaign before finishing his playing days overseas.

Apart from three straight seasons in the 20-point range to start his career with Nashville, Hall was never much of a producer. The winger clearly mustered his 10 NHL seasons and 687 games mostly via intangible contributions.

With that said, his incomparably short stay in Carolina also yielded his only scoreless stop in The Show. His most productive outing in that two-week 2013 partnership depends on who you talk to. It could have been when he landed three shots on goal (his only three shots as a Cane) against Florida on March 19. Or it might have been when he landed a season-high seven hits on New Jersey two nights.

With six other employers, Hall at least stuck around long enough to tally two goals and three assists, if not more. And no matter what crest he was wearing, in 31 career games against the Hurricanes, he totaled two strikes and four helpers.
