The Ohio State Buckeyes are putting together what should be a really special recruiting class. With commitments from multiple five-star recruits already, the Buckeyes are supplanting their talent with well, even more talent.

One of those that have committed to Ohio State is pro-style quarterback Kyle McCord. The Philadelphia product announced his commitment all the way back in April 2019. The 6-foot-3 quarterback leads by example and has a tremendous pocket presence.

With the ability to go through his progressions and make just about every throw needed of him, McCord has cemented himself as a five-star recruit.

  • High School: Weddington (Matthews, NC)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 25, No. 1 APB

North Carolina product Will Shipley is another five-star recruit that has already announced his commitment. The number one all-purpose back in his class will be suiting up for the Clemson Tigers in 2021.

A dynamic threat running the ball or catching the ball, Shipley is going to be a major weapon in Dabo Swinney‘s offense. In 2019, Shipley had over 2,000 rushing yards and well over 500 receiving yards in addition to 38 total touchdowns for Weddington.

With great speed and great vision, there will be plenty of home run touchdowns from him. Shipley doesn’t shy away from contact either and can be consistently relied upon to get several touches a game.
