The offensive line of the Miami Dolphins was a major weakness for Brian Flores’ team this past season. But it’s an area that has already been addressed frequently via free agency and the draft. The veteran additions include center Ted Karras and guard Ereck Flowers from the Patriots and Redskins, respectively.

General manager Chris Greer entered the three-day draft process with 14 selections and came out with 11 players. That include three picks on offensive front in tackles Austin Jackson (1b-USC) and Robert Hunt (2-Louisiana-Lafayette) and guard Solomon Kindley (4-Georgia).

Of course, all of this was before three-time Pro Bowl guard Larry Warford became available. Recently released by the New Orleans Saints, he spent the past three seasons in the Big Easy and was part of one of the best offensive fronts in the league. In seven NFL campaigns with the Lions and Sean Payton’s club, he has played and started in a total of 101 regular-season contests as well as six postseason games.

In 2019, the Dolphins were tied with the Carolina Panthers in allowing an NFL-high 58 sacks. The club also finished dead last in the league in rushing. There’s a reason this team has gone heavy into securing the trenches and Warford would be a steal at any price at the moment.
