Las Vegas Raiders sign Jadeveon Clowney

Jadeveon Clowney would come with a hefty price tag but why not? The Raiders are now in Las Vegas and it is time to gamble.

Clowney is an infectious playmaker. An addition like Clowney can make an entire defensive unit better. Playing opposite Maxx Crosby could pose as a two-headed monster. Not only will Clowney get to the quarterback as everyone knows he is capable of, but drawing multiple offensive linemen and slide protection his way will make things easier for Crosby on the other side. Crosby piled up 10 sacks last year and placed in the top five for forced fumbles with four.

Winning that battle on the defensive line would create a ripple effect for this defense. The 2020 Raiders defense will need to be one that can force turnovers to make things easier for their offense. A pass rusher like Clowney would help them do such.

Not to mention, Clowney in Las Vegas just seems like a good fit branding wise. He would give the Raiders that face they desperately need to heighten their brand during this relocation season. Clowney would definitely be a top-selling Raiders jersey if they were to pull the trigger and acquire him.
