Patrick Mahomes is the single best passer in Madden 20, with a 96 OVR Throw Power. He throws a beautiful deep ball, especially when his X-Factor is reached, and he can get away from most pass rushers with his 81 OVR Speed.

Mahomes is an athletic quarterback with a big arm in real life, something that EA Sports has brought to Madden 20 perfectly. The cover athlete has not only broken the Madden Curse, but he has put himself in a good position to repeat as the cover athlete for Madden 21.

I’ve found myself winning the majority of games I play with Mahomes, as he is very superior to most. Everyone says Lamar Jackson is the best quarterback in Madden 20, I disagree, as I give Mahomes the nod due to his passing abilities.

It depends on what style of football you play in Madden. If you want to sit back and throw the ball, Mahomes is the guy to use. If you want to play a backyard style of football, running with your quarterback, and making plays with just him, Jackson is the guy to use.

As long as Mahomes is an option, he’s the guy to take over any of the players on the list. If you’re doing a Franchise Mode with your buddies and you have the chance to pick anyone on this list, it has to be Mahomes.

Mahomes is most dangerous in Superstar K.O. mode, as his arm is unreal and he doesn’t miss many throws. The most deadly duo I’ve seen is Mahomes with Randy Moss, with both of their X-Factors being used. If you play against someone with both of those players in Superstar K.O. mode or Madden Ultimate Team, it’s going to be a long game for you.

Either way, Mahomes has to be the most important player in Madden and the best to dominate with, if you use him correctly.
