This fan created a backyard Dodger Stadium.
Los Angeles Dodgers fans can be quite a rowdy bunch but after seeing these photos of a backyard creation they can also add creativity to their resume. The MLB shared a series of images on Sunday of a fan-made backyard Dodger Stadium which was originally shared by Ben Massé on the Official Dodgers fan Facebook page.
The homemade stadium is complete with the iconic “Welcome to Dodgers” sign, the seafoam blue outfield walls and a scoreboard. There are also the retired Dodgers numbers, the Vin Scully and Jaime Jarrin icon, two foul posts and an American flag.
How cool is that?
When will the Dodgers be able to play?
The entire MLB 2020 season is on hold due to the coronavirus. At press time the talks of bringing baseball back to America were happening, which is a great sign. Unfortunately, that’s really all we know. There’s no resume date or even a hopeful return date. Right now there are two big groups, Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association arguing over the terms (aka money) and there are still big restrictions in place that vary from county to county.
But in the meantime, get your hammer and bucket of paint and create your own stadium so at least you can pretend there is some baseball still happening. At least you want have to pay for parking right?
