Every Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero, ranked
By D.J. Rivera
1. Black Widow
Black Widow is the Avenger who outranks the rest as the unquestionable best of the best. Of her many accomplishments, the former Russian operative was one of the Red Room’s finest graduates, and despite being revered as one of their greatest agents, she’s made S.H.I.E.L.D.’s most-wanted list more times than the rest of the MCU’s villains.
The elusive super spy is also a master interrogator, expert hacker, a skilled pilot, martial arts whiz, game-changing sharpshooter, and deadly assassin, solidifying her claim as the MCU’s biggest badass.
Despite her battle scars and traumatic upbringing, she always keeps her composure under pressure and rarely lets her emotions get the better of her. She doesn’t have powers but has been an Avenger from the start taking on the same bad guys the enhance individuals fight with little to no problem. Romanoff isn’t afraid to charge at an army of Chituari, go toe-to-toe with a member of the Black Order, or even take on the Incredible Hulk. She is the foundation that held the Avengers together for so many years, and she excelled at keeping the emotionally unstable boys in check.
It’s not hard to believe that any one of the heroes on this list would have made this ultimate sacrifice to stop Thanos in Endgame. But Nat is the one who did it, and for that — among everything else — is why she is number one in the rankings and number one in every Marvel fan’s hearts.
