25. Vision
Jarvis started at the bottom as Tony Stark’s suped-up Alexa and then went on to become one of the most powerful beings in the MCU. With the Mind Stone encrusted in his forehead and a body made out of Earth’s most durable metal regularly dressed in Banana Republics’ finest fatigues, it’s not hard to understand why Scarlet Witch can’t seem to get enough of this guy.
Overall, he proved to be a substantial addition to the Avengers, and in the end, he sacrificed himself to stop Thanos, forcing himself to be killed by the woman he loves. It’s kind of a bummer that the Mad Titan immediately reversed his death and killed him again before snapping half of the universe’s population into dust.
There is no question this hero is incredibly smart and powerful. However, the only Vision problem is that the character never really got to flex his true powers and show audiences what he could really do. With the exception of flying through giant Ant-Man at the airport battle in Civil War and blasting Ultron away, the purple-faced, data-driven entity proved to be more of a lover than a fighter. His lack of combat experience and the fact that he almost killed War Machine are definitely working against him. Hopefully, we haven’t seen the last of the popular Marvel character, and fans will get to see what he is truly made of before it’s all said and done.
