2.03 – J’Mar Smith (QB – NE)

J’Mar Smith is another talented quarterback who figures to get an extended look due to the success of Lamar Jackson in the NFL. While Smith is not a threat to Jarett Stidham as a rookie, with some seasoning and development, he could be ready to push him for the starting job by 2022. He has shown an ability to find a rhythm on the short passes the Patriots are famous for, but will need to improve his decision making and accuracy on passes 10 or more yards downfield to take the next step in his development. He still has a long way to go, but has enough upside to warrant rostering in ocean deep leagues with a taxi squad.
