The Philadelphia Eagles should sign Dez Bryant
Bryant and Carson Wentz could be a deadly combination.
The Philadelphia Eagles have been searching for that one receiver who Wentz could rely on. While they brought DeSean Jackson back in 2019, injuries kept him off the field. Signing Bryant could give them another option.
The Eagles wide receiver room would be crowded as they do have Jackson and Alshon Jeffery. However, with Wentz behind center there will be plenty of footballs to go around. With Bryant, they do have someone in case Jackson misses a few games.
In the past, Bryant was known for his ability to stretch the field and make plays on the 50-50 deep balls. He’d be able to do more of the same in Philadelphia and be a red zone threat for the team as well.
If there’s any setting that would get the best out of Bryant, it would be his former rivals in the Eagles. Signing with the squad would give him two chances to get revenge on the Cowboys. That alone may be the motivation he needs to make an NFL return.
