The Seattle Seahawks should sign Dez Bryant

If Bryant wants a ring, signing with the Seattle Seahawks may be his best shot.

Quarterback Russell Wilson and head coach Pete Carroll have made the Seahawks perennial winners. While every year the league can expect this team to make the playoffs, they are a team with a chance to win a Super Bowl every year with their dynamic duo at quarterback and head coach.

The Seahawks do need that piece that can get them a little closer. Why not take a gamble on Bryant.

Bryant last signed onto a one-year contract worth $1.5 million in 2018. If he’s to return, he’ll more than likely take a similar contract. That’s definitely affordable for the Seahawks. If he is willing to come back, the Seahawks should take that gamble.

Adding Bryant to their wide receiving core gives them a veteran presence. He could be included on several packages and prove to be Wilson’s most reliable target in 2020. While he may not be an every down wideout in the Seahawks system, he could emerge as the most efficient.

Pair him and Wilson together, and that combination could be the Seahawks missing piece on their quest to Super Bowl LV. With the Seahawks vying to be contenders in 2020, they have nothing to lose by pursuing Bryant who could give the Seahawks more than their money’s worth.
