Premier League team to watch No. 2: Tottenham Hotspur

Who would have expected the Champions League finalists to struggle so much this season? Currently, Spurs sit down in eighth place behind Sheffield and Wolves, struggling to compete against the teams further up the standings.

Tottenham really have to deliver in order to secure a top four finish, with a seven-point gap to close. The tension in this challenge comes from the fact that their biggest rivals, Arsenal, sit just one point behind them in ninth place.

It will be interesting to see how they can improve when the league restarts. Tottenham are a capable team, but they have a lot of work to do. They still have fixtures remaining against Arsenal, Manchester United and Leicester which means they can take charge of their own finish this season.

Tottenham are one to watch due to their remaining fixtures and their lower-than-expected current position. We’ll be watching to see if they can climb the ranks or slump to a disappointing finish.
