1. Golden State Warriors

The Warriors love to go with Draymond Green at center late in games, but they still need a quality big who can play productive minutes to start games. Wiseman could give Steve Kerr a superior option to Kevon Looney in that regard.

There’s even a chance that he could grow into a quality closing center in time. He’d certainly get a ton of room to operate in the post with guys like Steph Curry and Klay Thompson bombing threes from the perimeter.

The question about Wiseman’s fit in Golden State is all about whether or not he’s got enough offensive feel to move the ball in Steve Kerr’s system. The Warriors should be willing to bet that their skill development staff can improve Wiseman’s passing ability in time. He’s not going to become Nikola Jokic or Marc Gasol in the post, but he should be able to improve to the point that he’s not a ball stopper in the half-court.

If that happens, he could make the Warriors offense downright unstoppable. They may not believe they need a big-time low post scorer to be successful, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt. Don’t be shocked if Kerr rolls the dice on Wiseman in the draft.
