The Jets will be much improved this year. They will have several players with breakout seasons.

Let’s focus on just one. One of the main beneficiaries of the Jets’ success will be: Mr. Crowder. Let’s dive deeper.

Jamison Crowder (currently ranked as: WR44): I could be a little biased here, but Jamison is an underrated NFL (& Fantasy Football) wide receiver. Is Jamison the typical 6’+ #1 receiver for an NFL team? No. But, is he the Jets #1 receiver? Yes. The Jets will have Sam Darnold back for the full season *crosses fingers*. He will be fully healthy and that’s exactly what Jamison needs.

Jamison is unique. He’s small, crafty and agile. But, most importantly, he is the only reliable option that Sam Darnold has to throw to. Sure, Breshad Perriman is fast, but he’s never shown to be a reliable option minus a couple games with the Bucs last year. Denzel Mims is a wild-card but he won’t take away the targets that Jamison will see.

Jamison finished as WR26 (in PPR) last year, which is a remarkable achievement given that he had to suffer through 3 games of quarterbacking from Luke Falk, who, to be nice, isn’t that good. Jamison has a good rapport with Darnold and will see plenty of underneath targets and receptions, and that’s precisely the reason you will want to snag Jamison at the end of your drafts.

Crowder is going to have a very high floor. He will have several weeks over the year where he has 8-10 receptions and 100 yards. That’s terrific production for a WR3 or 4 on your team. Will he have games where he has 4-5 receptions for 40 yards? Yes. If he didn’t have those games, he would be a top 10 receiver. When you are this late in your drafts, you are looking for someone that can fill in that flex and give you stable production.

I won’t lie, Jamison is not going to win you any weeks (and if he does then you got the steal of a lifetime), but more importantly, he is not going to lose you weeks. You can count on Jamison every week to be productive and to far out perform where you selected him. Take Jamison, you won’t regret it.

Now onto the last team in the AFC East: The New England Patriots. Coincidentally, this is also the position they will finish in the division this year. Just kidding, probably not. 12th consecutive division title incoming.
