Georgia football runs the table in October.

Oct. 3 – vs. Vanderbilt

After opening up SEC play against Alabama on the road, they get the opposite end of the spectrum with Vanderbilt making a trip to Sanford Stadium to begin October. The Commodores are expected to be a bottom-feeder in the conference in the 2020 season and that should be on full display as Georgia will dominate both sides of the ball for a comfortable victory. Prediction: Win

Oct. 10 – vs. Auburn

If Jamie Newman and the Georgia offense were facing off against last year’s Auburn defense, this would be much more difficult to decipher. However, the Tigers have some questions to answer in the secondary and, even with Big Kat Bryant, up front. That could allow for the Bulldogs to move the ball at times. More importantly, however, Bo Nix hasn’t shown me he can thrive in big moments against elite defenses, which is what this will be in Athens. Prediction: Win

Oct. 17 – at Missouri

There is the potential for a letdown game here as this matchup with Missouri isn’t only on the road but is sandwiched between two premier games on the Georgia football schedule. Moreover, the Bulldogs proved to be susceptible to a letdown last season when they lost to South Carolina. That won’t be the case here, though, as Missouri has a ton of problems that UGA, even not at their best, can take advantage of to win. Prediction: Win

Oct. 31 – vs. Florida (in Jacksonville, FL)

In recent years, the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party has been dominated by Georgia. However, Florida is being propped up a great deal as Dan Mullen has the Gators primed to compete atop the SEC. Fortunately for Bulldogs fans, I don’t think Florida is ready to get past their rivals just yet. Urban Meyer is picking the Gators to win the SEC East and make the playoff, but I still have enough trepidation with Trask to worry how he’ll handle the UGA defense along with concern about the Gators defense after big-time departures. Prediction: Win
