6. Kansas City Chiefs

The highest-ranked team to use red as one of their primary colors is the Kansas City Chiefs. The franchise’s overall look hasn’t changed much since the AFL days for good reason: they nailed it from the jump. The Chiefs also get bonus points for not needing an alternate uniform, making them all the more recognizable.

5. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers score uniqueness points for being the only NFL team to embrace black and yellow as their main base. The look of the uniforms themselves is evocative of the Steel Curtain era of the 1970s and paying homage to the greatest era in franchise history is never a bad thing. Pittsburgh also doesn’t have an alternate in its mix right now, a welcome change after several years of using the awful bumblebee throwbacks in that role.

4. Las Vegas Raiders

When you think of the silver and black you automatically think about the Raiders. Al Davis’ original vision for the Raiders’ uniforms hasn’t changed much over the years and that look will be carried over to Las Vegas going forward. Franchises are often tempted to do a re-design when they move, but hopefully the Raiders realize that would be a mistake.
