Jacksonville Jaguars: WR Justin Blackmon (2012 1st Round, No. 5)

If we were limiting the scale of bust to one season, Justin Blackmon wouldn’t make the cut. Blackmon had a dynamite rookie season for the Jaguars, catching 64 passes for 865 yards and five touchdowns, but everything came undone due to multiple drug suspensions. As a result, Blackmon has been ineligible to play since 2013, making him a true bust.

Kansas City Chiefs: WR Jon Baldwin (2011 1st Round, No. 26)

The 2011 draft was a bit of a hot mess as teams were working in the midst of a lockout, which led to some reaches to fill needs. Jon Baldwin fits that bill as the Kansas City Chiefs were looking for a complement to Dwayne Bowe and selected Baldwin late in the first round. The pick backfired as Baldwin failed to make an impact, getting traded to the San Francisco 49ers after just two years.

Las Vegas Raiders: CB Gareon Conley (2017 1st Round, No. 24)

This pick was a bit of a risk for the Raiders, who took Gareon Conley despite off-the-field red flags like a rape accusation. Conley was a good soldier in the NFL but injuries hurt his ability to make an impact. The Raiders ended up trading Conley to the Houston Texans in the middle of 2019 for a third-round pick.
