The PlayStation 5 event is here, and weāve got updates on everything you need to know.

Already, Sony has teased what to expect from the next-gen console. Without getting into the nitty-gritty of all the specs, Sony is promising a much faster console than before. Graphics in these next-gen games will also get a major update that will look absolutely stunning (think the first look atĀ Unreal Engine 5.)Ā And (while it canāt be experienced in the PS5 event), there will be more game/player immersion, which PlayStation says includes āhaptic feedback, adaptive triggers and 3D Audio technology.ā
Hereās whatĀ Jim Ryan, president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, had to say over on the PlayStation Blog:
"This digital showcase will run for a bit more than an hour and, for the first time, we will all be together virtually experiencing the excitement together. A lack of physical events has given us an amazing opportunity to think differently and bring you on this journey with us, and hopefully, closer than ever before. This is part of our series of PS5 updates and, rest assured, after next weekās showcase, we will still have much to share with you."
