3. The Kansas City Chiefs have continuity.

There has always been a belief in football that maintaining continuity is key to success. Continuity is important for individual units that have to work together, like the offensive line, but the ability to grow within a system from year-to-year is a key to winning organizations.

That aspect of the game will be put to a big test this season as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. While the NFL should be able to start its season, the entire offseason program went virtual, wiping out minicamps where on-field work would have been done.

This should be a tremendous disadvantage for teams who were breaking in new personnel or schemes. The Chiefs don’t have that problem since essentially all the key pieces from their Super Bowl-winning team are back for another run at glory.

Being able to maintain that continuity will give the Chiefs a huge leg up early in the season since they will be able to run while other teams are just learning how to walk. Kansas City’s continuity is a very important factor in why the Chiefs have a great chance to win the Super Bowl again.
