2. The Kansas City Chiefs have Andy Reid.

Head coaching matters in the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs have one of the NFL’s best in Andy Reid. Over the course of his head coaching career, Reid has demonstrated the ability to win consistently.

Reid has been a godsend since arriving in Kansas City, helping the Chiefs become regulars in postseason play. The Chiefs have also benefitted from Reid’s relationship with Mahomes as the pair have become the best coach-quarterback combination in football.

The only knock on Reid had been his failure to win a Super Bowl. That is no longer an issue with the Chiefs winning it all in February, getting a huge monkey off of Reid’s back and all but ensuring his place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame after his retirement.

Kansas City has the benefit of one of football’s best coaches, which gives them a huge leg up on the rest of their competition. Having Reid back on the sidelines certainly enhances the Chiefs’ odds of repeating as Super Bowl champs.
