Each NFL team’s best draft pick of the last decade
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: WR Mike Evans (2014 1st Round, No. 7)
An emerging star at wide receiver, Mike Evans has been everything the Buccaneers could have hoped for and more. The No. 7 overall pick in the 2014 draft, Evans has been a matchup nightmare since entering the NFL due to his outstanding combination of size, speed, hands and route-running ability. Evans could reach another level in 2020 with Tom Brady throwing him passes.
Tennessee Titans: OT Taylor Lewan (2014 1st Round, No. 11)
Selecting a good offensive lineman can help set the foundation of a team, and that is exactly what the Tennessee Titans did in 2014.
Drafting Taylor Lewan with the 11th-overall pick has given the Titans their starting left tackle for the past six seasons. Over that span, Lewan has made three Pro Bowls and was a key component of the Titans’ ground game during Tennessee’s run to the AFC Championship Game in 2019.
Washington Redskins: OT Trent Williams (2010 1st Round, No. 4)
Much like the Titans, the Washington Redskins struck gold on their offensive line when they took Trent Williams fourth overall in 2010. Williams became one of the top offensive linemen in football, making seven straight Pro Bowls from 2012-18.
A medical issue saw Williams sit out in 2019 before being traded to the San Francisco 49ers during the 2020 NFL Draft for a pair of draft picks.
