Aston Villa host Sheffield United on Wednesday in the first game back from the break. Here’s all the info you need to watch the Premier League online.

After 100 days, the Premier League returns from its coronavirus pandemic hiatus on Wednesday and the first match back has big implications at both ends of the table. On Wednesday, 19th-place Aston Villa host seventh-place Sheffield United at Villa Park.

Sheffield United had been one of the best stories of the Premier League season before the coronavirus shutdown. The Blades were promoted from the second division and have shocked by surging into contention for a European place.

Sheffield United sit seventh in the table on 43 points. The Blades are just two points out of fifth and five points out of fourth, with a game in hand on the clubs ahead of them heading into Wednesday’s restart. Seeing whether Sheffield United can push for Champions League qualification makes them an obvious team to watch for the run-in.

Aston Villa, another side promoted into the league this year, are stuck in a fight at the other end of the table, battling to not go back down immediately. Aston Villa sit 19th in the table on 25 points. They are, however, just two points away from safety and being as high as 16th in the table.

Villa have conceded more goals than any other team in the league.

Aston Villa have also collected 17 of their 25 points at home, though it’s unclear how much home-field advantage will be wrecked by not having fans in the stands at Villa Park and around the Premier League.

Sheffield United beat Aston Villa, 2-0, in their previous meeting this season back in December.
