Tottenham Key No. 1: Get production from both Kane and Son

Not many clubs have the talent to survive losing two players of Kane and Son’s quality to injury. Tottenham deserve some level of credit for keeping their season afloat during their respective injuries.

Now it’s time for both men to get back onto the pitch and make meaningful contributions for the club. Kane may not be fit enough to play for a full 90 minutes, but he’s got to give Spurs some attacking zip while he’s out on the pitch. He doesn’t need to play for the full match to give Tottenham a massive edge. One or two moments of brilliance from the English striker could give Spurs an advantage they can hold onto.

Son has had the most interesting break of any Premier League player. He recovered from injury just in time to go on military duty for his home country of South Korea. It’s safe to say he won’t be intimated by anyone playing football for United. Unlike Kane, it’s expected that Son will be able to run his socks off for the full 90 minutes.

Tottenham will struggle to win this match if only one of their two best attacking stars manages to play well. Instead, they need big matches from both Kane and Son to win this crucial match. United will do their best to cancel them out, but that’s a battle Spurs have to win.
