The Badgers enter November looking for another Big Ten Championship berth.

Nov. 7 vs Northwestern

882. Prediction. 24. 809. 17

This Northwestern team should be better than it was last year, it has to be right? The offense should get a bit of a remake, most importantly with Indiana transfer Peyton Ramsey likely taking over for Huter Johnson under center. Isaiah Bowser will be back at running back as well along with stud linebacker Paddy Fisher on the defensive side. This team will be bowl eligible again, but they won’t have enough offensive firepower to beat Wisconsin. This one will be closer than most think, but the Badgers pull it out on the road.

Nov. 14 at Purdue

848. Prediction. 37. 809. 21

It’s not going to be hard to understand how to stop Purdue in 2020. Slow down prolific playmaker Rondale Moore who is back this year from injury and you have a very good shot of winning. That isn’t that easy as Moore’s big-play ability can kill some defenses before they even know it. At this point, however, Wisconsin will have their eyes on getting to the Big Ten Championship for the second straight year. Jack Coan has his best game of the year as the Badgers comfortably defeat the Boilermakers.

Nov. 21 vs Nebraska

809. Prediction. 20. 810. 38

It was a rather disappointing season for Nebraska last season as they were hyped up to be a serious contender in the Big Ten, but couldn’t even make it to a bowl game. This year won’t be as bad with quarterback Adrian Martinez having another year to mature and stud freshman Wan’Dale Robinson as the No. 1 receiver. Still, though, the offense won’t have enough to overwhelm this Wisconsin defense, and the platoon of running backs should run all over a lackluster Cornhusker interior. Wisconsin wins big at home and is one game away from the Big Ten Championship.

Nov. 28 at Iowa

809. 21. 878. Prediction. 27

If the chips fall right, this season-ending game in Iowa City could basically be a Big Ten West Championship Game. Both of these teams along with Minnesota are major contenders in the division. Iowa gets stud receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette back for his senior year but he will have a new quarterback throwing to him with Nate Stanley gone. Spencer Petras will be the leader in the clubhouse to get the job, but I’m not sure he’ll be ready for a game of this magnitude. Wisconsin’s veteran defense and quarterback does just enough on the road to get them to their second straight Big Ten Championship.

Dec. 5 Big Ten Championship Game vs. Ohio State

Prediction. 17. 809. 31. 812

This will be the fourth straight trip to Indianapolis for the Buckeyes and the second straight for the Badgers. Last year’s version of this game was exciting, with Wisconsin taking a 21-7 lead into the half against the No. 1 ranked Buckeyes. Jack Coan looked fantastic and even had a run for a touchdown to put the Badgers up 14-0. But the second half was a different story as the Badgers were shut out and eventually fell.

It is hard to see this year’s squad doing what last year’s team couldn’t and overcome Heisman finalist quarterback Justin Fields, who returns to the Buckeyes for his junior season. Wisconsin’s defense can keep it close, but in the end, it’s the same old, same old as the Badgers fall to Ohio State in the Big Ten title game for the third time in four years.

Final Record Prediction: 10-3
