Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones roasted Michigan on Twitter
Cardale Jones took a hilarious shot at the Michigan Wolverines on his Twitter account.
The hate Ohio State and Michigan players have for one another doesn’t just come to an end when their college days are over. Nope, the beef for the other team in one of the biggest rivalries on the planet stays with you forever.
Former Buckeyes quarterback Cardale Jones made that much clear on Friday. You think he was going to turn down the opportunity to bash the Wolverines? No chance.
The former Ohio State quarterback didn’t hold back in trolling the Wolverines
Shots fired from Jones. It’s one thing to bash Michigan’s helmet, but to compare it to a trash can? That’s next-level savagery right there. Immediately after firing off his tweet, the replies have been flooded by Ohio State fans showing their support of the former Buckeyes’ signal caller.
Michigan fans are understandably furious, but hey, Jones isn’t going to lose any sleep over that. He’s used to Wolverines supporters out there trying to make him angry him by now.
It’s hard to do that, though, as Jones went 11-0 as a starter at Ohio State and helped the team win the 2014 national championship. He was never able to stick with an NFL team, but he has his ’14 ring at home to remind him of his glory days on the gridiron.
Meanwhile, Jim Harbaugh has failed to live up to the hype of returning to his alma mater. Trust us, Ohio State fans have reminded everyone of that multiple times over the years.
The rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan has been incredibly one-sided of late, with the Buckeyes winning eight games in a row. With Jones’ latest tweet, you can go ahead and put up another tally in the ‘W’ column. Tough break for Michigan once again.
