Nov. 7: Oklahoma at West Virginia

877. Prediction. 28. 815. 14

West Virginia had a chance to be a surprising team this season, but they might be as impacted as just about anyone by the pandemic. Neal Brown is putting together a good program, but in year two of his journey from Troy, this is too heavy a cross to bear. The Sooners have too great an offense to let the Mountaineers keep up. Whether it’s Jarrett Dodge or former Oklahoma quarterback Austin Kendall, they will have no chance against the Sooners, even though they’ve played them tough these last few years.

Nov. 14: Kansas State at Oklahoma

Prediction. 10. 823. 16. 815

Wait, a Big 12 game where the score isn’t ridiculous? This was a weird one, but we’re going to blame the weather. Rattler tried his best to play through downpours throughout the day, but he was only able to muster one touchdown drive in the second quarter. They tried to get the offense going with Brooks on the ground, but he was having similar issues. It’s a good thing that Kansas State was seeing the same sheet of rain when they were on offense. Skylar Thompson ended up fumbling twice, and the Sooners watched as kicker Gabe Brkic lifted them to victory.

Nov. 21: Kansas at Oklahoma

815. Prediction. 10. 821. 45

Sorry Les, this Kansas program is nowhere near ready to play with the big boys yet. The Jayhawks have constantly been the easy win for the Big 12 for what feels like decades. Having Les Miles as head coach is a nice start in the right direction, but he needs a lot more time to fix this program. Rattler throws three touchdowns in the first half and sits for the rest of the second. Tanner Mordecai gets some snaps in this one, and he looks just as good. He throws for 225 yards in the second half as Riley wants to see what he has in his backup in case he needs to make a change at a later date.

Nov. 28: Oklahoma at Texas Tech

815. 31. 874. Prediction. 28

Wow. With everything on the line, a chance to possibly go into the College Football Playoff, a guaranteed spot in the Big 12 Championship Game, the continued dominance of the Sooner program, they fail on the last game of the season. Rattler has an awful performance in the first half, throwing for two ducks for interceptions. He tries to make up for it with his ground game, but Riley decides to switch to Mordecai in the second quarter. Mordecai actually plays well, bringing the Sooners back into the game. However, a last-second field goal by the Texas Tech Raiders has them rushing the field (if there are fans) as they seal the upset.

Oklahoma goes 10-2, 7-2 in the Big 12.
