Belmont Stakes 2020: Start time, live stream, betting odds, and more

The Belmont Stakes will be run as the first leg of the Triple Crown, and here’s everything you need to know.
It’s been a weird year for sports, which is a tremendous understatement. Live sports are just now starting to trickle back into our lives after a full-scale stoppage occurred back in March as the COVID-19 global pandemic engulfed the world.
One of the many sporting events effected by the pandemic was the Triple Crown, the jewel of both the horse racing world and the gambling world.
Rather than cancel this year’s Triple Crown, things just got reshuffled a little. Typically the Kentucky Derby is the first leg of the Triple Crown, followed by the Preakness and finally Belmont. Things have been flipped around, as the Belmont Stakes will be the first leg of the Triple Crown and will be happening later today.
That means live sports, and it also means live sports betting, are back in our lives in some form.

Usually, by this point in the Triple Crown we’ve identified a horse that could win it all. Instead, we’ll be starting our Triple Crown dreams with one of the horses below, with the likeliest being Tap It To Win or Dr Post. Those are the easy money picks but usually the way to get the most causal betting fun out of these races is to go with a horse that has higher odds and bet less money.
