Texas football schedule 2020: Predicting every Texas Longhorns game

Predicting every game on the 2020 Texas football schedule.
Tom Herman is entering into his fourth season as the head coach of the Texas football team. Herman and the Longhorns are looking to continue their ascent into building Texas back into a nationally relevant program.
What was once one of the most prestigious programs in college football is attempting to become that once more. This season could be a huge step in the direction of accomplishing that for the Longhorns.
Under Herman’s guidance, the Longhorns have won three consecutive bowl games and are entering into 2020 with 16 total starters returning, including star quarterback Sam Ehlinger.
That should be a recipe for plenty of wins for UT in 2020, especially considering the considerable amount of blue-chip talent Texas has on its roster.
It is worth noting that the Longhorns will be breaking in six new assistant coaches in 2020. That sort of drastic turnover on a coaching staff could certainly adversely affect how a team performs. But if Herman made the right hires, it could also help UT get a Big 12 title this season.
Texas won just eight games last season, seven in the regular season, which was a considerable step back from winning 10 games in 2018, including a Sugar Bowl victory over an 11-win Georgia Bulldogs team. That coaching turnover may have been necessary in order for Texas to continue trending upward. And 2020 should be a season in which Texas takes a considerable step forward.
