DraftKings PGA: 2020 Travelers Championship Picks and Analysis
2020 Travelers Championship – Values
Joel Dahmen $7,700
The bucket hat is a fan favorite due to his feisty feuds and his electric interviews. The guy has been playing some really solid golf after the break. 2 made cuts with a top 20 at the Charles Schwab. He faded on Sunday at RBC, which I am hoping will lighten his ownership. The ball striking has been there, and now he returns to his most familiar putting surface. This course sets up ideal for him and he has decent course history making his 4th start at TPC with 2/3 made cuts.
Doc Redman $6,700
Do you know who is the top ranked golfer in the field in SG Approach the past 2 events? It’s Doc. The kid seemingly always has a really low round each tournament. I’ll bank on that again this week. There is a lot of green in my mixed condition model for Redman, so I am comfortable with a 6,700 golfer with upside. Redman makes his debut at TPC River Highlands coming off of a T58 and T21 since the break.
Kyle Stanley $6,200
Stanley ranks out extremely well in my mixed condition model and he has excellent course history. I love that combination. What I do not love is two consecutive missed cuts since the break. The second bun of the complement sandwich is the fact that he is $6,200 and will garner less than 1% ownership. I will be a week earlier than all of my peers on Stanley. Top 40 in opportunities gained since the break and he is a course specialist, with a made cut in 4/5 with 2 top 20’s.
