Liverpool FC are Premier League champions for the first time in 30 years.
It’s been three decades in the making, but Liverpool FC are back as the champions of the Premier League after Christian Pulisic and Chelsea outlast Manchester City. This meant City could no longer catch Liverpool and ends their top-flight domestic league championship drought after 30 years.
This is the first Premier League title for Liverpool, the 19th top-flight championship in club history and first since 1990.

The reactions from Liverpool fans flooded the mentions and comments under the pair of tweets from the official Liverpool FC Twitter account after the title was clinched. It was such a joyous occasion and the sights and sounds emanating from outside Anfield are going to be memorable that people tell their grandchildren about in the future.
Among the biggest Liverpool fans is NBA superstar LeBron James who shared his excitement after clinching the Premier League championship. Not only is LeBron a fan, but he’s also a part-owner, so you can understand his double excitement.

Last season Liverpool had 97 points, the highest ever in their history, but still could not win the league. However instead of feeling dispirited, they responded by winning the league this season with 7 games to spare. Mentality Monsters

Liverpool 19/20 a seriously great side. 86 points from 93. Top at full-time of all their matches. Yesterday was one of their best displays: complete defensive shutout - didn't allow the opposition a single touch in their box! - and four superb goals. Brilliant team.

This is such an incredible moment in Liverpool FC history, the Premier League and even if you’re not the biggest fan of the team or the sport, you can appreciate the effort it took to end their title drought.
Imagine your favorite team going 30 years without winning a championship and finally breaking through to capture the title. It’s such a great feeling for all the players, coaches, fans and the entire organization to deliver this win after coming so close last season.
Congratulations once again to Liverpool FC on winning the Premier League championship for the first time since 1990 and etching their name in the history books.
