Sevilla have come out of the blocks well since the restart and along with Atleti now look the strongest of the teams vying for the final two Champions League spots. Julen Lopetegui’s side have been given further encouragement by the faltering form of three of their main competitors, Real Sociedad, Getafe and Valencia. Nonetheless, they’ll no doubt sorely miss the cauldron of noise that the home fans at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán create.
Valladolid went into the lockdown just four points above the drop-zone and looked in real danger of being dragged into the relegation battle. But a win over fellow strugglers Leganes and a draw against Celta have seen that cushion grow to a more reassuring eight points, although with seven games left to play they can’t relax just yet.
