To be the man…

Hall of Fame professional wrestler Ric Flair used to say “To be the man, you’ve got to beat the man (…WOOOOOH!).”

Touche, Nature Boy, touche.

Mahomes has not only been a league MVP, but more importantly has won playoff games, won a Super Bowl MVP, and hoisted the Lombardi Trophy. He’s also thrown for 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns in the same season.

Jackson may accomplish all of these feats in his career with the Ravens, too. But, until he does – it is difficult to objectively say he’s a better quarterback, or a better player to build your franchise around.

For now, Mahomes is the best quarterback in football, and projects to be the league’s best quarterback for the next decade or so.

As a result, despite the remarkable campaign that Jackson and the Ravens put together in 2019, Mahomes is the quarterback we’d choose.
